Every so often life throws a little something new into the mix.  An online review, a scheduled appointment and a cancelled lunch date all conspired to bring me to Albion. This latest addition to our little corner of the East End caught my eye in the hip and happening guide Daily Candy today. Albion describes itself as a caff, a bakery and a small shop selling British food and drink and is a part of Boundary the new Terence Conran venture.

I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful coffee with the ever creative and energetic Charlie Smith. Charlie is the hands and brains behind the new Charlie Smith label formerly known as Vintage Voltage. She came to let me pick from her new Spring and Summer line which included vibrant vintage beads, leather, gold coloured chains and broaches restrung in fabulous combinations.
