Sometimes its a good thing to have a little shake up. Our joint Eco Chic event definitely rocked the shop by throwing clothes, shoes and make up into the mix.

Oh and let me not forget the chocolate, prosecco and the books. Plus chuck in the photographer who just happened to bring a chef. Even Glider the shop dog got in on the fun.

Let's face it, sometimes you just can't do it all on your own. Take for instance me and this whole writing malarkey. When I first began my Cerise UK journey the very idea of anything beyond signing a cheque much less writing a business plan would bring me out in a cold sweat. Then one day I had the good fortune, cheers The Athena Network, to attend a talk from media coach Carole Ann Rice. Listening to her made it clear in my mind that I had to get a grip on the written word and that she was the one to hold my hand/kick my butt.

On Sunday June 14th Cerise UK is honoured to be hosting a rather special event with the co-founder of Makepiece, the unique ethical knitwear brand, Beate Kubitz.  The ever eco passionate Beate will be discussing fashion, style and her very own sheep.This will be a free introduction to the issues driving fashion with a conscience and will demonstrate how you can select style with substance and choose clothes which you can wear with pride. You will also learn more about the 'sheep to chic' brand which is making waves in the world of contemporary fashion with its dramatic and stunning knitwear designs and how co-founder, Beate, juggles the different worlds of farming and fashion. In addition to tales from the field there will also be loads of divine Makepiece clothes as well as accessories.
